Rachel is much more than simply a Hellenistic astrologer and wellness professional.

Rachel’s youth and formal academic education culminated in dual B.A.s in Spanish Language and Latin American & Iberian Studies from Southern Methodist University. She was drawn to the service industry before the stars, and continued with extensive coursework and certification through both the Guild of Master Sommeliers and the Wine & Spirits Education Trust.  

Rachel gradually transitioned from there into the realm of wellness and the healing arts, becoming a certified NLP Practitioner and Hypnotherapist, receiving a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy certificate and completing coursework in Integrative Wellness + Life Coaching. while living in los angeles, She apprenticed to world-renowned meditation teacher, Benjamin Decker, and was employed by highly regarded meditation studios, like Unplug and The Den. Rachel later earned her 200hr RYT through Yoga 8 in Waco, Tx with owner and personal mentor, Kim Damm, and completed sound healing training through sean beiersdorfer.

Though the art of astrology came to her intuitively, Rachel also received her certification in the Fundamentals of Astrology through her longtime inspiration, premier Hellenistic astrologer and author, Austin Coppock.

From 2018 - 2020, Rachel co-owned and operated the now-closed DFW favorite meditation studio, The Refuge Meditation, with her brother, Alex. After shuttering the studio, she launched her public astrology practice and published a collection of poetry, Meditations on Being, which was released in 2020 by Deep Vellum publishing, where Rachel also served on the Advisory Board.

Today, Rachel resides in Waco, TX with her husband and two stepchildren, practicing astrology for private clients all over the globe. She also leads yoga & meditation at Yoga 8, serves as an ambassador for the greater waco chamber of commerce, maintains a local food and beverage blog, Waco4All, records the astrology table podcast on rogue media network, and publishes “the astrology road show” daily on instagram & tiktok.
